How to Leave Site Comments on Your Duda Website

Ready to make revisions?
One of our favorite features of Duda is the ability to leave site comments like little post-it notes all around the site to talk specifically about what needs to be changed and where. You even have the ability to upload specific pictures to sections so your designer knows exactly what you mean. Here's how:
Log in to your duda website
Your site designer will give you access to log into your Duda website via the email address you provided them. Use that email as your username and create a password to log in. You should receive a new account link from Duda the first time you log in, use that to create your account. Having trouble logging in? Log in here.
Click "Edit"
Once you're logged in, you'll see you have access to edit or preview the website. Click "Edit". Don't worry, you won't be able to make changes to code or anything scary like that!
Review & Leave Comments
Now you'll be able to navigate through the preview of your wesbite with the addition of a little side bar on the right side. The little word bubble with the plus (+) is what you'll click to drop a site comment. The word bubble with the 3 dots (...) is where you can view all comments.
Use Comments Like a Post-it Note
Comments are super easy to leave. After you click the (+), whatever you click next will be where your comment bubble is left! You'll notice when you scroll over a section of the site it will highlight it. This makes leaving very specific notes, extremely easy! Simply click and a text box will appear to leave a comment and (my favorite part) an option to upload an image. Here's why that helps...
Changing images with site comments
Duda makes switching out photos on your website an absolute breeze. You'll notice on site comments that a small image button appears in the bottom right of the text box. If you click it, you'll have the option to upload a specific image from your computer right to the comment. Rather than trying to explain which image in your company files you want in a spot and hoping the designer is able to find the right one, you can speed up the process by uploading the exact image you want, right to the comment!
Select from any of the options available to you:
- Free Images - Duda offers a great selection of free stock photos for you to choose for your website.
- Site Images - these images have been uploaded or purchased for your site already.
- Upload Images - Not seeing the image you want? Click "Upload Images" at the top left to add your own!
Review comments & respond
Leave feedback for your designer, communicate with your team, and collaborate around your site in internal comment chains! Once your request has been completed, you can mark the comment "Resolved" and it will be removed from the list!
View all of your comments
To view all of you open comments, just click the bubble with 3 dots (...) on the righthand side and this screen will appear to view everything throughout your site. You can click each comment and it will move your to the page and section where the comment is located!
